I don't understand why you have to reselect cameras every time you want to view what's going on around your home. It should be simpler. I could not call anyone for help, had to keep emailing back and forth with customer service (although the guy I communicated with was rather helpful). I did extensive homework before purchasing the loocam. Shipping was fast and reliable. It took longer to run the wires for the cameras,than to set it up. The Loo Cloud app for our phones took a few minutes to set up but it was not rocket science.

Update on night vision: looks GREAT! Not quite 90' in total darkness but I'm happy with the over all purchase! I'll add some lighting and will be perfect. Thanks again GOOD LUCK! Arrived on time.

I would never buy this again and considering returning it. I am familiar with computers and build n network my gears, have a ac5300 router that i only use manual config and set firewalls, etc. No manual and going on line offers basic info but no pdf to download so must cut n paste, no lan mac address on box or in system menu. You have to play with network setup between router n dvr to find out. Set device to record 24 hours cont. But device only records 30 mins. Cannot go back to beginning of day to see what occured.

You spend more time trying to make it work than using it. Email alert and notification won't work and tried various providers like yahoo, gmail, and others. Phone app is garbage and does not want to work fully. Really stripped down n useless. I have used a Qsee and others in the past and those up and running in 30 mins.

I have been messing with this Looscan since this morning and it is now 11:30 pm. Will try a bit more tomorrow but have wasted my day.

Their are many issues. Just did not bother to write them all down.
